Panjabi Folk Music is the key to my heart! Growing up in Ludhiana, Surinder Kaur, Prakash Kaur, Asa Singh Mastaana , K Deep-Jagmohan Kaur, Gurdas Maan have been my icons and go to artistes. In recent years, I have also discovered the poetry of Shiv Kumar Batalvi and Amrita Pritam. 

Beyond Panjab, Rajasthani folk music has also found a place in my heart. I had the good fortune of being part of ‘Saawan Dhoom Machaave’, a concert of folk songs of Rajasthan, curated and presented by Inner Courtyard.
