The wondrous world of Urdu poetry came to me through my Guru Shri Dayal Thakur. I started my taleem with Guru ji in 2012, and over the years, Ghalib, Faiz, Shakeel Badayuni, Sahir Ludhianvi have entered my life and repertoire. My other Guru, Late Pandita Sushila Rani Patel, initiated me into Sanskrit Shlokas. Varied opportunities emerged, a Corporate Anthem, an Ad jingle for Kalyan jewellers, a theme song for a film on Autism. I have enjoyed each of these spaces, and crave more.
